Nazanin is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a degree in International Relations and Political Science, including Scholarship studies at the prestigious Science Po in Paris and Herstmonceux Castle in England.

Nazanin is a Global Youth Educator with the Red Cross, where she teaches global issues such as landmines, poverty-disease cycle and children affected by war.

She currently studies Broadcast Journalism and plans to combine her knowledge and skills in these fields as a foreign correspondent.

Nazanin is also a pilot, holding licenses for both powered aircraft and gliders, and has achieved the highest possible rank in The Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
