How to: Throw a party
First, get some friends. Don't rent friends. Parties with rented friends dont usually turn out very well. Get real friends.

Second, have a reason. Parties for party's sake aren't cool. You need a gimmick. This will be valuable when the party starts to help start converstations.

Third, get a venue. It may be your house, a rented place, a pavilion, whatever.

Fourth, Make invitations, and send them out. Put the obvious in the invitation; Who, What, Where, Why, When, etc. Send out the invitations well in advance, at least 2 weeks. This eliminates a lot of excuses from people who don't really like you.

Fifth, get ready for the party. Buy all the stuff that makes a theme party good. Decorations, drink supplies, music, etc.

Sixth, on party night, have the party. Make everyone wear "Hello My Name Is" tags. It will be a success.
